Short hair styles are not just the 'new' look. They represent a broad variety of choices and how a particular style will look on you isn't always easy to know. The thing you have to realize is that there are many variations of "short." To have short hair does not necessarily mean that you have to have a haircut that makes you look like a boy a.k.a pengkid lah, tomboy or what so ever. Still, if you have the right bone structure, then even a short cropped cut will make your face look stunning. You will never be mistaken to be a gorgeous woman. But, what ever it is, you have to consider your face. Short hair styles are definitely stylish and chic.

Remember the following things to make your short hair look chic and stylish, not boyish:

1. Perm your hair to add volume, height, and curl.

2. Choose a new angle to create a trendy look.

3. Try different things with your haircut. Example, you might wear it spiked, slicked back with a strand to the side, or simply tousled.

4. Have layers added to your hair.

5. Use hair jewelery or pins to pin it or pull it back.

6. Consider having your hair softened with a razor edge cut.
